The S.R. Noteboard indicates there is a winter race at Long Lake. As
far as I can tell, there are about half a dozen Long Lakes in the
state of Washington.

My guess is that it is the one in Kitsap County rather than Thurston
Count or the ones in eastern WA. :-)

Directions from Shane:

Long Lake is in Port Orchard. From I-5 take Hwy 16 west towards
Bremerton.
Exit Hwy 16 at Sedgwick. Turn right. Stay on Sedgwick until you see a
yellow blinking light on Long Lake Rd. (Go through two traffic
signals). Turn right.
Follow LL Rd, the Long Lake County Park will be on the right.
