It is past Nov. 2nd but I would potentially like to add another item to agenda if possible. As I mentioned in a previous email Lake Stevens Rowing Club would like to be host a Sound Rowers Race sometime during the Sound Rower’s quiet season (November - March). Per Don Kiesling’s reply to my query last month, LSRC would like to discuss this at the board meeting. I will not be at the board meeting as I will be racing in California. Bob Cummins would represent LSRC at the meeting if we can have it on the agenda. Concerning LaConner, I have submitted the date to Don and have preparations proceeding. I will likely move the lunch to the picnic shelter on the hill next to the bathrooms. We still do not have a sponsor to return to Shelter Bay and the school we used last year is fairly expensive ($493) after paying for the rental, janitor, and insurance (plus it took several months to get my billing). Since we are already paying for the shelter when we rent the bathrooms, there will be no extra charge. My wife and I will check it out one more time but I believe it is large enough to get everyone out of the weather — just not heated as the club and school have been. My wife (a.k.a. La Conner co-director), Deb, will try to make the meeting to answer any questions. Please let me know if I should have Bob plan on attending the meeting and also let me know if you would like any other information concerning La Conner. Thanks. Tyler, sorry for the late notice but I have to watch my niece’s kids on Saturday. I was in contact with Theresa Knakal and I would like to cast a vote for her after Shane nominates her for President. As for publicity notes I’ll give them to Shane. Happy Holidays Terrie

Countdown to Annual meeting time!
The annual meeting is this Saturday Nov 10th, 10:00 AM at the Lake Washington Rowing Club located at 919 North Northlake Way Seattle, WA 98103. Once you get inside head upstairs and follow the signs to the meeting room at the end of the hall on the left.
Feel free to give me a call if you get lost (206) 786-1083.
Attached is the agenda for Saturday, the minutes from 2017 and a draft of race safety guidelines that are close but still in the development process (created by Theresa Knakal). I will print out a few copies of the agenda and minutes but try to bring your
own if you would like.
Feel free to bring some food to share and I will do my best to keep the meeting moving and get us all out at a reasonable time. I will also need a volunteer to take notes during the meeting.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Tyler Peterson
