The Northwest Paddling Festival (May 11 & 12) is looking for an experienced racer to help coordinate our annual 2-mi and 6-mil paddling race on Saturday, May 12 at Lake Sammamish State Park. This race typically attracts 80 participants (both SUP and Kayakers). Ideally the race coordinator is familiar with race protocol and day-of race logistics. Strong public speaking skills desired. (Approximately 8-10 hour commitment over 2 days, or more if you’d like to be involved in planning phase!)

This is currently a volunteer position and would be a great fit for someone looking to build event experience, add to their resume, learn more about the boating and outdoor industry and work with a fun team! Volunteer benefits include free wristband for on-water demos, event t-shirt, volunteer swag, invitation to the exhibitor dinner Friday night, letter of recommendation and our highest appreciation.
