You may not believe this, but I had planned a couple of months ago to
take my wife with me on the Escapade for this race just to show her one
of the beautiful places where we are lucky to race. Having a roof
overhead was an afterthought.
After the cloth I had been using to clean rain from the lens finally became soaked I stopped taking photos. Probably a good thing.

Thanks Mike! Glad that Kate could join you --for the scenery -- and "ambiance" of open water racing --even if that means water from the heavens.
