I would like to remind everyone that Vern and Janet Heikkila are hosting the Elk River Challenge in Westport, WA, this Saturday. The race starts at 11 am and is free to SR members, $10 to everyone else. The race will begin at Brady's Oyster business, first right turn over the bridge that spans Elk River estuary as you approach Westport. If you can, camp over night at the Heikkila's and do the fun row/paddle on Sunday.
