Welcome to PNW rowing. So pleased to hear you would like to do the Bainbridge Race. You can borrow my Maas Aero if you like. I live in Renton. You can email me -- deborow1@... --or call me to arrange logistics (206-730-0804 cell). Spread the word about the race to your other open water rowing buddies,

Subject: Bainbridge Island Marathon Steve, Heads up on possible entry – not sure if you like to get a grip on the # of entrants ahead of time. I’m transplanted from San Francisco, now rowing out of Pocock. Formerly I rowed at Open Water Rowing in SF and did all the major races multiple times (Catalina to Marina del Rey, Santa Cruz to Monterey, SF Bridge to Bridge etc). Since I don’t currently have my own boat, I’m working on borrowing one of Pocock’s unloved open water boats for the Marathon (they have a Maas Aero and Bay 24 mouldering outside). If that works out I plan to enter the short course (not in shape for long
course). Thanks….Tom Kreyche |
