Hi everyone,
Just joined the group and figured I'd introduce myself.

Sharky, 48, F, Nampa, ID (near Boise).

I've been a recreational kayaker for 4-5 years, but I've been around
boats and water all my life. I grew up in Seattle and get up there 3-
4 times a year.

Last fall as part of my weight loss and get fit program I got on the
erg at the local gym. It was love at first stroke.

I did the Concept 2, 200K Holiday Challenge and then a half-marathon
(21K) in Jan.

I'm getting my first rowing shell in a few weeks (Maas Aero) and then
I'll be meeting Steve Wells for sculling instruction. I hope to be
at the American Lake Classic.
