Heyyou Bainbridge Marathoners, Dueto changes in Park policy and a potential parking conflict with a group ofclassic auto buffs, we have decided  tomake  a last-minute change that willbenefit us all, at least for the day. The full marathon will start and end at Fort Ward Park (directionsfollow, direct from Google maps). The half-marathon will, as usual,  start at FayBainbridge Park two hours after the start of the full marathon, and proceedcounter-clockwise to a finish at Fort Ward. Shuttle arrangements will, as usual, take place after the start of thefull marathon.  We will be making everyeffort to minimize traffic at Fay Bainbridge and the parking may be limited atFort Ward, so we encourage carpooling. We will make every effort to start the race by 10, but will be as accommodatingas possible, should there be any confusion.  ·        No Discover Pass is required at either park.·        Slow paddlers may be allowed an early start.·        Bring hydration gear; it’s going to be a hot day.·        Got hats this year, thank Stoneway Concrete·        This will throw Tom’s analysis of the currents and mineinto  a cocked hat·        Start time has always been dependent upon arrival of thelast possible ferry and the speed of registration: I try to get it going ASAP,but that usually is closer to 10:00 than 9:30 Looking forward to the start,  Steve Directions to Fort Ward Park FromSeattle via the Bainbridge Is.
